Inappropriate Content Complaints Policy

As reflected in Slader’s Terms of Use, this Inappropriate Content Complaints Policy is expressly incorporated into Slader’s Terms of Use. To the extent there is an inconsistency between this Slader Inappropriate Content Complaints Policy and the Slader Terms of Use, the Terms of Use shall govern. We request that all Slader users please notify us if you believe that any material posted on the Slader Web Site or Social Media Platforms appears to constitute Inappropriate Content in violation of Slader’s Terms of Use, including but not limited to violations of Third Party Intellectual Property Rights, Infringing or Harmful Content, Objectionable Content, or otherwise Prohibited Content, as those terms are defined in Slader’s Terms of Use.

Reporting Copyright Complaints with a DMCA Notice

If you are a copyright owner or someone who is authorized to act on behalf of a copyright owner, you can report infringing use of copyrighted content through Slader’s Inappropriate Content Submission Form. Consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement reported through our portal and remove the content in question where appropriate. In order to submit a notice that complies with the DMCA, please be sure to:

  1. Provide a physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
  2. Identify the intellectual property right you claim to have been infringed, including the Registration Number issued by the U.S. Copyright Office or comparable national I thinoffice of a foreign jurisdiction;
  3. Provide a detailed description of the material that you claim is infringing, so that we may locate it, including the specific type of content (e.g., an image, a written answer), the URL where the allegedly infringing material appears, and the approximate location on the web page where the allegedly infringing material appears;
  4. Provide your address, telephone number, and email address;
  5. Provide a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the allegedly infringing use is not authorized by the copyright’s owner, its agent, or the law (including but not limited to the fair use doctrine);
  6. Make a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyrights involved.

If you prefer to submit a notice that your copyright has been violated via email or by mail rather than through our portal, please provide a written submission that includes the above-listed materials to Slader’s Copyright Agent below. Reporting Trademark Complaints

If you are the owner of a legally enforceable trademark, service mark, certification mark, or trade dress (each a “Trademark”) or someone who is authorized to act on behalf of a Trademark owner and you believe your Trademark has been infringed by content posted on the Slader Web Site or Social Media Platforms, please notify us using the Slader Inappropriate Content Submission Form. Please be sure to:

  1. Provide a physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the trademark owner;
  2. Identify the Trademark you claim to have been infringed, including the Serial Number or Registration Number issued by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office or comparable national office of a foreign jurisdiction;
  3. Provide a detailed description of the material that you claim is infringing, so that we may locate it, including the specific type of content (e.g., the name or image at issue), the URL where the allegedly infringing material appears, the approximate location on the web page where the allegedly infringing material appears, and a description of why such use is likely to cause consumer confusion or to dilute the Trademark;
  4. Provide your address, telephone number, and email address;
  5. Provide a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the allegedly infringing use is not authorized by the Trademark owner, its agent, or the law (including but not limited to the fair use doctrine);
  6. Make a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the Trademark rights involved.

We will respond promptly to claims of trademark infringement reported through our portal and remove the content in question where appropriate.

Reporting Other Inappropriate Content

If you believe that any other content posted on the Slader Web Site or Social Media Platforms is Infringing, Harmful, Objectionable, Prohibited, or otherwise inappropriate, please notify us using the Slader Inappropriate Content Submission Form . As set forth in the Terms of Use, Slader prohibits not only the infringement of copyrights and Trademarks, but also the display of:

  • “Infringing Content” otherwise infringes an intellectual property rights, including patent, trade secret,right of publicity, or other rights;
  • “Harmful Content” that: (i) would encourage or provide instructions for an unlawful activity; (ii) disrupts or interferes with the security or use of the Slader Services; (iii) impersonates another person or entity or attempts to use another user's account or misrepresent a user’s affiliation or identity; (iv) engages in transmission of spam, chain letters, junk mail, or any other type of unsolicited solicitation; (v) collects information about other users without their consent; (vi) advertises, offers to sell, or sells any goods or services, engage in any commercial activity, or solicit donations of any kind; (vii) interferes with any third party's ability to use or enjoy the Slader Web Site or Services; (viii) uses our Web Site to do or share anything that is unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, or fraudulent; (ix) accesses or collects data from our Web Site using automated means; or (x) assists any third party in engaging in any activity prohibited by this Agreement;
  • “Objectionable Content” that we or another user of the Web Site may consider to be obscene, lewd, lascivious, violent, harassing, defamatory, infringing, abusive, inflammatory, vulgar, fraudulent, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, hateful, disruptive, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable (including, without limitation, because it violates the Slader Terms of Use); and,
  • “Prohibited Content” that: (i) you know or reasonably should know is false or misleading; (ii) is libelous, defamatory or slanderous; (iii) incites, encourages or threatens immediate physical harm against another; (iv) presents an immediate and genuine danger to another person or entity; (v) violates any applicable law, regulation, or rule; (vi) is of the type described in the immediately preceding subsection; or (vii) does not directly relate to the particular area of the Web Site where content will be posted.

In reporting such Inappropriate Content, please be sure to:

  1. Provide a detailed description of the material that you claim is Inappropriate Content, so that we may locate it, including the specific type of content, the URL where the allegedly Inappropriate Content appears, the approximate location on the web page where the allegedly Inappropriate Content appears, and a description of why such use Violates Slader’s Terms of Use or this Inappropriate Content Complaints Policy;
  2. Provide your address, telephone number, and email address so that we may follow up with you if necessary;
  3. Confirm that the information provided is accurate.

We will respond promptly to claims of Inappropriate Content reported through our portal and remove the content in question where appropriate.
